Hello friends! Take a deep breath! We've almost made it to the weekend!
As we come into the weekend, with comforting thoughts of relaxation in mind, I have something I want you to think about.
As humans, we often find comfort in having control over, well, anything and everything we can control. We shy away from instability and run the other direction, often stunting our own personal growth in the process.
We even develop attachments to having control and the outcome, too. And we often chase this fleeting sense of comfort in every direction, running further away from our true selves.
Having control over anything is going to be an infinite quest if you really think about it. Everything is always changing, always moving forward and controlling it will always be a fleeting sense of fulfillment...deriving from ego and leaving you wanting more control.
Control is an illusion, it's an attachment that creates suffering. Let go, and trust.
I encourage you to remember, the space in between letting go of control, and trusting divine order, is the very place that you will find the true essence of your being. This place is silent, this place is you.
And so I say to you what a good friend once said to me, "tathaastu", a Sanskrit word meaning, 'so be it.'
Take care my friends!
