Happy HuMp day light lovers! How are you all? I hope this Wednesday has you feeling inspired, motivated and recharged! Journey with me through this post as we look at the Sacral chakra and indulge in it's awareness.
The second chakra, often called the Sacral chakra is the energy center for self love and sense of self. This chakra is located just below and near the navel and it's Sanskrit name is Svhadisthana.
This chakra is associated with the radiant color of orange and the music note "D." This chakra represents your desires, creativity, sexuality, emotions, your connection to others & self esteem.
If this chakra is blocked, or out of balance in any way it can manifest these problems: prostate issues, low back pain, frequent kidney, bladder or urinary tract infections. Additionally you may see problems such as lack of creativity, productiveness, sex drive and connection to others. Poor social skills and rigidity and fear of sex are also associated with a sacral chakra blockage. On the other hand, if this chakra is too open you may have trouble defining healthy boundaries or experience an overactive sex drive. Writers block is often associated with this chakra.
There are many remedies, though, to help you achieve and maintain balance in this chakra. First, you can nourish this chakra with eating and drinking items that are orange in color to encourage the chakras' vibration. This is one of the easiest ways to restore this chakra. Below are some additional tips to help you balance this chakra: * Sound therapy with the music note "D." * Carry carnelian, orange calcite, goldstone or topaz crystals. *Ylang-Ylang, tangerine and cedarwood essential oils are very effective in balancing and maintaining the health of this chakra. * Painting, drawing, journaling, sculpting and other creative outlets will also fuel this chakra.
So, after this quick review what is the health of your sacral chakra? Allow yourself to be creative, develop deep relationships with others and strong self esteem. These tips will foster opening and strengthening your sacral chakra!
Tomorrow, we'll take a look at the solar plexus chakra! Have a great Wednesday!
