Good morning to you! How ya feelin,? Ready for the weekend? I know I sure am! I have a lot to get done this weekend, so I'll be busy running some errands. I'm also looking forward to down time, but unfortunately it is supposed to snow this weekend in Ohio! I'm ready for warm sunshine, spending time in my garden and mowing the grass! What's your favorite outdoor activity?
Alright, well here we are at the third entry on chakra awareness- the third chakra. This chakra is best known as the solar plexus chakra and in Sanskrit is named Manipura chakra. This beautiful energy center is located in the middle of your torso and is associated with the vibrant color of yellow. This energy center represents personal power, self-esteem, courage and intuition. This is the chakra that gives you drive and motivation.
If this chakra is too open some of the manifestations are obesity and addictive eating.Energetically, if this chakra is too open you may be judgmental, a workaholic , easily angered and little intuitiveness.
Additionally, if blockages are present in this chakra you may experience that as kidney stones, gastritis, diverticulitis, colitis, gallstones or liver stones. Energetically, being over critical of self, and lack of motivation or self esteem are also signs of blockages in the solar plexus.
Don't worry though, if you have these problems there are many chakra therapies you can do to lessen and even diminish these symptoms completely. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables that are yellow in color is a great place to begin! Some of these tips will also help re-vitalize and balance this chakra: *Music note "E" and chanting RAM (sounds like R-aahh-M). * Tiger's eye, yellow calcite and sunstone are great crystals to carry. * Lemon, lime, neroli and orange essential oils are great for balance and 3rd chakra health. * Deep breathing techniques will foster balance as well. * Physical activity. * Practicing self-esteem and acknowledging you "gut feeling" will also strengthen the energy here.
The solar plexus chakra is one of my favorites. When I am attuned to my solar plexus, it seems that making decisions in life and trusting myself to make decisions comes much easier. I have also learned that trusting that gut feeling will always take you down the path in which you are supposed to experience.
For me, it's a matter of shifting my awareness to this energy center to reap the full benefits of it, like any other chakra.
I hope this awareness helps you to develop your intuitive center and strengthen it's health and balance! Have a beautiful Thursday friends- and hang in there! The weekend is almost among us!
** What are your experiences with the 7 chakras? I want to hear from you!
