Good evening friends! Tonight I'm firming up a few exciting new opportunities that I hope to be able to announce to you guys soon!
In the mean time, let's talk about labels. To me, labels can be so limiting, and even mummify your ability to express yourself. We get so wrapped up in achieving labels, or chasing labels that we forget why we're chasing it in the first place. And then, we create attachments and over identify with labels and lose sight of who we are. It's like being addicted to an egocentric dynamic of your personality.
Labels do make communication easier at times, but all too often I've seen people over identify with certain labels and lose their sense of self.
I think it takes a deep capacity for one to be able to reflect inward, take an honest look at yourself and identify with the labels that you are attached to, and then release them.
Sometimes we even cling to different labels and identify ourselves with them because that's what society wants or is encouraging. But at this point it should be no secret that doing or trying to be that which you are not is divorcing yourself from the true essence of who and what you are. Talk about unfair! You are essentially robbing yourself of 'you.'
So, I leave you with a simple thought... If it is hard, painful or stressful... It isn't you. That is it.
Being you should be the easiest thing in the world, but if upholding a label makes it hard, make a change.
Peaceful blessing of moonlit rhythms from the universe that nurture your soul.
