Hello friends! This post is something many of you have asked me to blog about so here we go!
As many of you already know, I used to own a small metaphysical shop where I practiced my spiritual services and also managed a storefront with metaphysical/spiritual items for sale. It was called Serenity and was so much fun! I met a lot of fantastic people and enjoyed every minute of this experience.
Starting a business though, wasn't easy. I didn't have a nickel to start it with, didn't have a location for it and had never owned a business before. Most people close to me thought I was crazy, I'm sure. But that's okay, I accepted it.
You see, along this process I ran into many walls, and was told 'no' many times. But somehow, NOTHING deterred me from seeing my goal. Perhaps because I'm so hardheaded, and when I make my mind up about something, you better believe I'll do it. Anyways, every time I was told 'no', I saw it as an opportunity to get creative in finding my 'yes.' Believe it or not, anything under the spiritual umbrella is considered high risk in the eyes of banks and insurance companies, so that's why I was told no so many times, until I got creative to find my yes. But, it's not even the creativity that I needed. Looking back, I know now what got me through and helped me achieve what I wanted to.
Initially, I was fixated on approaching a certain bank for a business loan, and also fixated on a specific location for my shop. I quickly learned that if I didn't open my mind to other possibilities for my shop, that it wasn't going to happen at all. Being fixated on a certain idea blocked out all other opportunities and possibilities from becoming a reality.
So, I quickly decided to let go and let God. Cliché right? I know, but it's true. I was able to be conscious enough to see how I was hindering my own growth and let go of everything that was holding me back. I let go of where I initially wanted the shop, and then found the location. I let go of worrying about the funding, and then found a bank that said yes. So, when I released my attachments, all of the other opportunities presented themselves.
In doing so, this is when everything began to fall into place. I no longer worried about how it was going to work out, or where or when, and I didn't care to a certain degree- I had faith. I just knew it in my bones. I aligned my feelings with the existence of it, and that's what I fixated on. I focused on the feeling I'd get when I imagined myself unlocking the front door to my shop, or spending the day in the shop. And the more I did that, the more I manifested what I truly wanted.
So, in reading my short story about overcoming and manifesting, I hope this post brings you to a place where you can see your attachments, be assertive enough to change them and allow new opportunities to come into your life that you may not have seen there before.
Let go of ALL of your questions, and simply align with feeling it exist, and I promise you'll manifest it!
