Hello everyone! I hope this post finds you having a productive Tuesday! I am still adjusting from traveling to California, and feel completely wiped out today! I am going to take time to meditate and rest, I know my body needs it!
Today, I encourage you to have courage enough, to accept something different, something new!
Today's post is all about personal power through adaptability. Throughout my life, and more recently in my career I have seen and witnessed the growth of personal power, when one can allow themselves to adapt to something new or different. All too often, we see individuals shy away from something new or different, as they retreat back into their comfort zones and rebuke change of any kind. The security of control in our comfort zone, robs us of the capacity to adapt to new situations. If we keep ourselves confined to the space of security, and control within our comfort zone, then we'll never have the opportunity to grow and evolve.
This is where faith and adaptability become key components in stepping outside your comfort zone, trying something new and strengthening your personal power. As we allow ourselves to adapt to something new or different, we create space for the allowance of change, and simultaneously detach from old behavioral patterns and attachments. Rebirth occurs in this process and personal power is exercised. Personal power in self trust and faith, as we make changes and trust the decisions we're making.
Most of the time, we're insecure or uncomfortable with change because we have attachments to old/ current patterns or beliefs, and change is often viewed as threatening. The only reason change is threatening, is because we have attachments and resistant to becoming adaptable in new situations.
So, the next time your faced with a change, empower yourself by adapting to the situation.
I know for me personally, the more I exercise adaptability, and adhere to the situation I'm in, the more empowered I feel. There is an underlying sense of freedom too, because I no longer let the situation rule me, by making me feel powerless through change, but I feel empowered through adapting to the change.
SO, again, I encourage all of you to have courage enough to accept something new! You'll give yourself freedom and feel empowered as you do!
I hope this message helps you find that personal power, in a situation where you used to feel powerless. All my best! xoxoxo
