Good evening! There is so much I want to share with you guys! First... A daily renewal quote that I found quite fitting for me today! Then, a message from Erik about Alzheimer's. I hope you enjoy!
"If you want to succeed you should strike out on new paths, rather than travel the worn paths of accepted success." -John Rockefeller
Erik on Alzheimer's: Me: Erik, can you shed some light on Alzheimer's? Erik: Sure Kim, we've been over this many times, it's about time you share for many, so thank you. Me: of course! Thank you- as always. Erik: Alzheimer's is a progressive experience through which humans are propelled into many states of awareness at once. You see, as humans, many of you stuff down your emotions, hide them, put them away or whatever so you don't have to feel them and process them. You'd rather run from them. But, those emotions have a time stamp on them, that is connected to that place where they occurred and surrounding events. So, as you go along through life, and stuff your emotions away from yourself, they are not really gone, they are in your subconscious and will eventually resurface, with all the information attached to those emotions. So, what happens is, as individuals grow closer to their physical death, this information begins to resurface. But it doesn't resurface one emotion at a time, rather, multiple. Even if it was 35 times in your life that you stifled 'anger' it will resurface that many times, with the numerous time stamps on it, and the individual will reexperience it all over again in the time in which it originally occurred- with the people and all. So, for example, when you were 35, and your husband pissed you off, but instead of talking it out, you sucked it up and moved on. Fast forward 30+ years, you will reexperience that as if it's happening all over again, as if your 35, talking to your husband- you will be in that reality, in that state of awareness to process it. So, this is often why you see confusion, disassociation and altered states of cognitive function and awareness with these people, because multiple scenarios are existing at once for them. It's confusing and disorienting to the human perception, because it is a perception that has linearity to all understanding. They are taken back through all of those experiences in which they passed up the chance to process emotion. This is also why you see people with Alzheimer's talking to 'nobody'...but having a full blown conversation, because they literally are right back to that reality, to that state of awareness at whatever point in life they bypassed emotional processing. Me: So why do we see incontinence, muscular contracture and other physical ailments besides cognitive? Erik: that's because the consciousness is spread so thin among all of those realities as they resurface, and energetically isn't communicating effectively to the brain and connecting to the current 'time' in correspondence with the body. The awareness is elsewhere, so when that happens, muscles don't behave correctly, body functions don't behave correctly and even cognition because their awareness is not in the present moment, the awareness had to go to another state of existence and process old stifled emotions. It's like how flowers pop up in the spring time, these emotions just keep popping up until they are effectively processed and released. Me: well thank you, I'm kind of speechless.. Erik: then I've done my job!
