Good morning! We are one step closer to the weekend! Sunday is May 1st, are you doing anything special to bring in the new month? I haven't made plans yet, but looking forward to the weekend nonetheless! (Ppssttt and May is my birthday month, so it's extra special!)
Today, I'm going to keep it short and sweet. A message with a simple challenge for you. Look at this field of flowers, can you describe it in one word?
The word I choose is 'unity.'
Among this expressive array of flowers, there are colors of all kinds. Reds, pinks, purples, yellows, orange flowers and even whites are sprinkled throughout.
Although all of these colors could create division, they don't because of the simplicity of the life force in flowers. Each flower blooms without hesitation. Blooming in it's own beauty amid it's own perspective, and adding to the collective beauty of the field- creating unity.
You see, the flowers don't hesitate to bloom due to their fear in comparison to others. They simply coexist, understanding their beauty as an individual, inside self love, and as they do, they create unity. This field wouldn't be nearly as beautiful if there were only one type of flower, or one color. It takes all of them, collectively to make the field beautiful. They all bloom in the same language- self love, and that creates unity.
So my challenge to you is, despite your differences, despite other's skin color, job type, lifestyle, religion, body weight, looks, hobby preferences or any other aspect that can create division, - I challenge you to embrace what is different, accept it. In doing so, you are adding to the collective beauty of the world, you are creating unity.
